Fresh lime juice is a very Latin way to bring out the flavour of dishes and helps reduce salt use. Lime juice is also a major ingredient of our top cocktails, such as the Mojito, and is added to almost all of our other cocktails to add piquancy, complexity and to balance sweeter fruits
We juice our limes freshly every day. Apart from containing high levels of cold and flu-busting Vitamin C - one of nature’s most important anti-oxidants - limes also contain unique flavonoid compounds that have antioxidant and anti-cancer properties. Limes are also a natural antibiotic
The Vitamin C in limes also helps to neutralise free radicals which can damage healthy cells and blood vessels, as well as altering cholesterol to make it more likely to build up in artery walls. Vitamin C is also vital to the function of a strong immune system
